Why “Hello there”! πŸ‘‹πŸΌ

So, you say you are ready to write a book, eh? Perhaps, you are saying as well, “I don’t need a book coach! What would one do for me, anyway?”

Let me ask you, can you think of any successful athlete or actor or businessperson, who is not surrounded by a team of people who help them build their success? The answer should be a resounding NO.

Although writing is touted as a solitary activity, the truth is that while the actual act of writing can only be done by you, the process of putting your story into a completed manuscript for printing into book form requires a great team. This team includes beta readers, editors, future agents and publishing folk, and–yep, you guessed it– a book coach!

Now, you may be thinking anyone can be a coach for anything these days. I was right there with you for the longest time. Like any industry, there are periods of trends where it becomes saturated or over-hyped to the point of clichΓ©. So, I don’t blame the skeptic or cynic in you.

However, if you find yourself as a person who says, “I’ve always wanted to write a book, but _____.” filling in the blank with whatever reason or excuse you find suitable, then there is no doubt that a book coach is for you.

Just like the name suggests, a coach helps you to see things you don’t or can’t (yet). A coach will give you guidance, help you to train the writing muscles, storybuilding skills, or whatever other areas are needed. A coach often knows how to prep for accessing areas in the industry that you might not yet be aware of. And…if you’re here reading my page, I’m guessing you are a teeny tiny bit curious!

So, my recommendation is to book a consultation call and see if this coaching thing is for you or not. Besides, while I may or may not be a good fit for you, you may learn a bit more about what a book coach could do for you and be on the lookout for someone to help you cross that finish line and get that story of yours out into the world, because there is someone or someones out there waiting to read/hear it.
